For the first time, LG Global HQs gave a vote of confidence in Greece and assigned to LG Hellas to host the annual LG Innovation Festival, Innofest 2017 in Heraklion, Crete.

The assignment of the event came in recognition of the excellent results of LG Hellas the last years despite the financial crisis. The key goal of the event was to showcase LG’s latest innovations and transform all participants to transmitters of positive publicity for the country at international level and for LG Hellas at domestic level.

In the event participated international and Greek media, partners from all over Europe, important Greek retailers and local agencies.

To reach our goal we designed a complete communication plan and a stakeholders engagement plan that among others included:
• A press visit in Crete
• A press conference in Crete
• One to One meetings of LG executives with leading Greek media
• Exclusive interviews
• A hospitality program that included a series of sightseeing and culinary experiences and team building activities
• 3rd party endorsement (VP and CEO of Kotsovolos-Dixos greeting, EEDE executive greeting)

The results were impressive:

• More than 500 visitors from all over Europe enjoyed the Cretan hospitality and conveyed positive messages about the country.
• More than 400 publications, with a total ad value of more than € 300K.
• Exclusive interviews for LG Europe and LG Hellas executives and extensive TV coverage
